BaseBind - DustBloc
Mt Tibrogargan, Seating Area
BaseBind
Queensland Parks and Wildlife used BaseBind mixed with 2.3-grade road base to create a solid, stabilised toilet and seating area at the base of Mt. Tibrogargan, in Queensland's Glass House Mountains National Park.
BaseBind was evenly mixed on-site into the road base and spread to achieve the correct fall. Because BaseBind makes road base hydrophobic, proper drainage is essential.
The combination of BaseBind and road base delivers long-lasting durability against weather and foot traffic, while blending naturally into the surrounding environment. A concrete or bitumen-sealed surface would detract from the atmosphere of such a beautiful national park.
The Cooee Products range has been independantly tested and shows no hydrocarbon leaching, meaning the surrounding environment remains unaffected by the use of BaseBind.
