BaseBind is a road stabiliser and binder, applied at a rate of just 1% by weight of road material. Designed to deliver lasting structural improvement, BaseBind significantly strengthens the road base while simultaneously rendering it water-resistant, addressing two of the most critical challenges in road construction and maintenance.

In current construction methods water penetrates beneath the asphalt, weakening the road base and forming potholes, a problem that worsens with rainfall or incorrect drainage.
While existing binders on the market can be mixed into road bases during construction, they remain water-soluble and wash out over time, failing to provide a lasting solution.
Cooee developed a product that mixes readily with water during application but becomes permanently insoluble once dry, meaning it bonds once and holds. BaseBind has done extensive lab testing and successful trials on government and council roads, our stabilised road base delivers improved load-bearing capacity and greater resistance to the stress and strain that commonly result in road deformations and material loss.

By treating the base with BaseBind, road surfaces become far less susceptible to common failure's such as rutting, cracking, potholing, and washboarding, problems that are frequently aggravated by an unstable or moisture prone foundation.
