Tinted TimberTreat
TimberTreat is a non-toxic, environmentally friendly, oil-in-water emulsion (O/W) that uses a unique approach to protecting timber. Cooee's unique solution to wood protection,
uses waxes to ingress into the timber,
leaving a tough film on the surface.
This surface film is waterproof and hard wearing,
and gives the product long life. The waxes
and surface film are chemically bonded, so
flaking and peeling is eliminated and help to
prevent cracking, warping and twisting. This
means no more sanding to apply further coatings
in the future.
Four popular colours are available. They are Teak - Honey Brown,
Ironbark - Rich Chocolate, Jarrah - Browny Red and Cedar - Vibrant Red.
All of these finishes
are slightly glossy, but not so much that the finish
is slippery when wet.
The method used by Tinted TimberTreat to seal the
wood surface, ingressing into and also leaving a
film on the surface, makes it an ideal way to help seal
in the chemicals in treated timber.
